REVIEW · THE DESERT
Evening Desert Dune Bashing by 4*4 Vehicle
This desert ride is pure adrenaline. In Ras Al Khaimah, you get 4×4 dune bashing and a Bedouin Oasis dinner in one tightly packed evening. It is the kind of outing that changes your whole picture of the UAE, fast.
Two things I really like here: the smooth pickup and drop-off within Ras Al Khaimah, and the amount of activity you squeeze in before dinner. You’re also not stuck at a single “look at the dunes” stop. The evening includes sandboarding, a short camel ride, and hands-on add-ons like henna painting, plus a buffet with real variety. Based on what you may experience with this operator, you could even be paired with a driver known for punctual, friendly service such as Isaac, and that tends to make the whole ride feel easier.
One consideration: the dune bashing is thrilling and bumpy. If you have back issues or heart problems, or if you are pregnant, this won’t be a good fit. Also, kids under 2 are not recommended, and there are age limits for older adults (80+), so check before you book.
